MONEY WILL BUY BOOKS BUT IT WON'T BUY BRAINS.

Before the economic bailout situation black people had not one figure about the economy in terms of percentage of job losses, investment losses, mortgage losses or bank closing because if it is not important to white people it is not important to black America. We now quote the figures provided to us by white America, we harbor their predictions and we concern ourselves with their well-being as it relates to our well-being.The Chinese, Spanish, Asian, Arab and Indian players are continuing to make their way in the world in-spite of white Americas gloom and doom economic forecast but African Americans ignorantly live, breath and balance the prognosis of their lives based upon every word, announcement, figure or percentage point that spews from the mouth of white America. How will we ever learn do for self when depending on White America's diagnosis and prognosis? White Americas facts and figures does not accurately reflect what condition your condition is in.I am not a racist nor a militant but for independent sakes what is our own black analyst predicting for 2009? What does the accounting figures reveal from our own black accountants? What does the black bank presidents have to say? Where are the analysis from our black economic and accounting graduates from historically black universities? What does our local black graduating university sons and daughters have to say as they enter the world of finance, accounting and economics?African Americans stop tailgating white Americas lifestyle and spending habits. You can't do what they do nor live the lifestyle they live. White America have resources and priviledges that you don't possess.Stop feeding and trying to grow off of White Americas afterbirth.Look at what you have working for you not at what you have working against you. For heavens sake black people you have a black president when are you going to show some independence and leadership that determines for ourselves what condition our condition is in?Enoch MubarakPresident & CEO Mubarak Inter-prizeswww.mubarakinter-prizes.comwww.undercoversmart.com

A very good post Scholar Enoch.

The only thing that I see wrong in this post is that something compelled you to say "that you are not racist nor militant".
Who would ever think that or why are we always apologizing for being scholars? We do not have to make any concessions or apologies to anyone because are efforts are not dependent on their approval or disapproval. If people, that wish to be ignorant and stupid no matter who they might be, allow themselves to be duped over and over again or abused and ravaged by white folks i.e, culture, men, value system etc.. then so be it! We have to be mindful that this is part of their paradox remember.....of having a psychological and cultural hold over their volunteered low-life negroes.

I just despised the fact that so many of us have to apologized to low-life negroes for defending ourselves.

Thanks for a very well written and clearly thought out post.

It is not me being apologetic. It is me being factual. I am not a racist nor a militant I am... ..Undercoversmart but you don't see me though.

Read Undercover Smart and you will understand that there is something else other than one being racist or militant. There is Undercover Smart.

Read Undercover Smart and see the new. I am a African player in the game for World Domination.

I just don't understand. Why would you be so concern whether or not someone who's not concretely a scholar or an avid reader and or at least have some sort of high school level literacy\comprehension (Lol) mis-perceive you as a racist or militant when you confessed that you're not and know that your're not? Your writings is succinct, clear and do not suggest something as that. I get the impression that you're being apologetic for where you stand on issues and or you have some serious anxiety about how someone may misinterpret your writings.

Does it really matter to you how someone thinks about you when you know its not factually reality? Just food for thought.

        Peace , Blak Man.

If African Americans are so self-willed and concrete determined that what people think and say about you doesn't matter then you will spend your life at war.

The global perception of African Americans as not being intelligent is what matters. If we want to live in and beyond the 21st first century we have to, and we must maintain a strong image and intellectual presence.

For African Americans to live in relative peace in the 21st century then believe Enoch Mubarak when I tell you to, forget about racism. Racism is dead. The game of the 21st century centers around: Intelligence, Perception and Association.

Take your heart and mind out of the sand and face the fact that the 21st century for African Americans requires a strong image and a global intellectual presence.

Intelligence, Perception and Association is the only way to negotiate our existence in and beyond the 21st century.

African Americans need to see real time proof of what the game is all about and once African Americans know what the game is all about we can win.

I second what was sed by Igotmelanin. I agree with what you say, Bro Enoch. It is unnecessary to qualify your statement by claiming not to be militant or racist. However, it is your post and you do you.
Only international African unity can transform the minds of African people in North America. No matter what your occupation may be, you have to relate to the greater, wider world of African people in the Caribbean, Latin America and in the Motherland. For those who have probs with that, after while, crocodile. The rest of us need to formulate all strategies and tactics on consolidating this trend and growing it. Peace.
