Harlem native Bilal Sunni Ali, living in Belize, Atlanta and New Orleans the last 12 years is a educator, composer, community activist, and world renowned musician. Mr. Ali has performed with Stevie Wonder, Brain Jackson, Wynton Marsalis, Pharoah Sanders, and other music luminaries. Bilal's band consists of Mark Carey-piano; Taurus Matin-bass; Sidiki Lancaster-percussion. Also appearing on this double night/double bill is "The Singing Chef" from Atlanta Ras Chemas Lamed with intermission presentation by noted poet George Edward Tait reading selections from his latest book, "Sword Songs"
