Mark S. Allen, Chairman of National Black Wall Street Chicago encourages Chicago's Black community to come out in strong numbers to see and hear The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan as he brings a spirit and example of Black Wall Street message of what the Black community can do for self to Chicago's westside this Sunday. Far too many Black citizens regularly ask what can be done to stop the violence without responding to a clear message from Minister Farrakhan that clearly shows the power of what the Black community can and must do i using the talents, plus the consumer education and consumer action power to build up the Black community using the resources we have right now to do more for ourselves with the economic power the Black community has.
We commend Rev. Paul Jakes for convening the right man, at the right time, for the right reasons. We look forward to showing our community of the operational message and unity that must exist on the ground in our Black grassroots communities as we can replace the physical violence fighting the economic violence with a combination of our community practicing the principles of the Economic Program of the Nation of Islam, the community economic program of Dr. King, and the principles of the Rev. Willie T. Barrow consumer education and consumer action project of The Black Wall Street movement and they all use the spirit and example of how Black people can turn their communities around for the better by using their trillion dollar consumer spending power directed at the Black communities own financial institutions to sustain and increase our own community businesses, jobs and institutions.
Yes the Black community CAN bring peace to the Black community but they must know to accept the challenge that that peace begins with them and not from external resources. Again, we salute and support Rev. Paul Jakes for bringing our community the kind of speaker and agenda needed to empower and transform the Black community with this "do for self" and spirit of Black Wall Street message.
