Below is my sugestion for all those who want to change their first names to an African first name. AKWASI is for male Sunday; Kofi is for male born on Friday. The reason while Akwasi Akyeampong is spreading his shit is because, we as Africans have come a long way when Europeans and Arabs imposed their names through their religion on Africans is over. We, expect from now on to encourage our men and women to understand the simple thing that a name is everything. Take a different name and you are lost to your people. Akwasi Akyeampong has done his very best by changing his full name to that of his nativity. Thus any Akan person who hears Akwasi Akyeampong will claim him as an Akan.
