Media Blacks Out Former CBS Reporter John Davis, the FIRST to Interview Nelson Mandela ? Why is this historic interview conducted by John Davis not being aired during this time of mourning and remembrance, and not even by his own former CBS network or former Chicago media allies? It appears that such a historic FIRST interview of Mandela by this Black journalist would warrant major news media coverage by all media. It is major part of the Nelson Mandela story.
There can be only one "FIRST" interview of Nelson Mandela when he was released from prison and former CBS News Reporter John Davis was it and should not be excluded from this major history of Mandela coverage and accurate documentation.
Mark S. Allen, veteran activist and Chairman of National Black Wall Street Chicago is pleased to join Wallace "Gator" Bradley, veteran activist with The United In Peace organization and others in raising this major issue of the exclusion of where the historic first interview with Nelson Mandela by reporter John Davis should be properly recorded and reported during this historic coverage of Nelson Mandela
