Friends, please hear my personal fundraising appeal to help me in my leadership as new Chairman of The Black Wall Street Organization during August, National Black Business Month and our new Willie T. Barrow Consumer Education and Consumer Action Project!!
I am moving out on faith to my friends and believers in the need for Black economic empowerment movement that can truly reach a disconnected grassroots Black community, so here I am applying for a Black Wall Street Chicago $500 matching grant from a small mini grant foundation, that if we raise $500 by the end of August the organization will get another $500 matching grant so that will give us $1,000 on our September expenses. HELP US FRIENDS and those who believe in the work to advance the work to sustain and increase our Black businesses and jobs by making a donation today to Black Wall Street Chicago at 4655 South King Drive, Suite 203 Chicago, Ill 60653 or paypal account blackwallstreetchicago@yahoo.com
Mr. Elzie Higginbottom and his East Lake Management Company have been great to me and the organization in providing a very strategic organization location in Bronzeville, and an affordable rent, but in the past few months I invested in fulfilling the general office equipment, materials, website, technology, new funding proposals and operational expenses and fell behind in the office rent that your help now can help us bringing current starting with the $1,000 payment we can make in September by achieving the raising of $500 before the end of August to get the $500 match!!! An organization that is going to advocate for others for Black business development first show that it can sustain itself as a legitimate business organization. Your help now helps us sustain this organization in educating our people how to use our new Trillion dollar consumer spending power to transform our community through our own consumer education and consumer actions.
WHAT A WAY to celebrate and conclude August, National Black Business Month! I hope in these 40 years of service on local, state, and national levels that I have earned your support on this new leadership challenge I have taken as Chairman of Black Wall Street Chicago and the grassroots campaign to teach a new generation the spirit and examples of Black Wall Street in building, sustaining, and increasing Black owned businesses and jobs in majority Black communities through our new Rev. Willie T. Barrow Consumer Education and Consumer Action Project.
