This year also marks the 30th Anniversary of Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, Sr.’s historic run for President of the United States. International, national, and local political leaders and activist will join us to reflect on that momentous occasion and discuss where we go from here. In the “88” Jackson Campaign I am proud to have been a Co-Chair of The Midwest Youth/Young Adults Committee; then one of the National Youth and Field Staff, and finally was elected with over 68,000 votes as the youngest member of The Illinois Jackson Delegate Slate from the 2nd Congressional District.
