On November 19, 2011, 11:30 AM, at 2061 North Los Robles Avenue Suite 205, Pasadena California 91104, Mothers for Africa will have our first meeting for the Student exchange program. This meeting is an introduction meeting. We will discuss exactly how the program works and answer all questions; also we have added a new component to the program. All students selected for this trip will attend monthly lessons on multimedia. The program is designed to provide a variety of media and technology lessons to students participating in the Student Exchange Program to Ghana who otherwise may not have excess to this cutting edge technology. There will be a wide range of lessons, Video Production Basics-from Script to Screen, Digital Graphics, Digital Photography, Digital Green and Science Environmental Media, Digital Animation, and Internet Design. The youth will learn how to video record our trip and edit the footage for the purpose of creating a documentary. The lessons will also include preparation for the trip, such as an introduction to international trade and commerce and Ghanaian Culture. Parents are more than welcome to attend this trip, however they will be asked to pay the full cost of the trip, the children will receive half off the trip or maybe more, depending on their fundraising efforts.
