Please join us for the 19th Annual Rose Sheinberg Lecture at NYU School of Law.
This year’s Sheinberg Scholar, Dr. Kathy Boudin will speak on Hope, Illusion, and Imagination: The Politics of Parole and Reentry in the Era of Mass Incarceration in Vanderbilt Hall, Greenberg Lounge located at 40 Washington Square South on November 5, 2012, at 4:00 p.m.  A reception will follow.
Dr. Kathy Boudin is director of the Criminal Justice Initiative, Supporting Children, Families and Communities based at the Columbia University School of Social Work. The Initiative is dedicated to ending society’s reliance on incarceration and retribution and replacing it with policies and practices that enhance individuals, families and communities’ health and well-being through professional training, student engagement, research and advocacy and working closely with people who have come home from prison.
