Personal HAPPY 88th BIRTHDAY to my Kappa brother, the legendary Black business icon Ed Gardner, founder of the historic Soft Sheen Products Company; the funder of the grassroots movement "Come Alive October 5" Campaign that led to the election of Harold Washington as Chicago first Black Mayor and STILL a vanguard for Black empowerment and the grassroots level when it come to the lack of Black contractors and Black workers NOT working in the city and not even in majority Black communities.  God bless this legendary Black man during BlacK History Month for still promoting the MORAL AUTHORITY of a Black community not to accept qualified Black contractors and workers not being contracting and working according to its population in this city in general and in majority Black communities in particular.  Mr. Ed Gardner is a LIVING LEGEND of the spirit and example of Black Wall Street as well as the principles of Dr. King's Poor People's Campaign and Operation Breadbasket !!  We certainly need this example as such a time as this State of Emergency in The Black Community !!
