The elder Black business icon Mr. Ed Gardner will be the special guest speaker and "living legend" honoree at the National Black Wall Street Chicago Economic Summit Saturday November 10th from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM at The Charles Hayes Center at 48th & Wabash, co-sponsored by The CHA Central Advisory Council. Also attending will be Ken Bennett, former White House Assistant to President Obama, now Midwest Director for The U.S. Department of Labor; Gregg Brown of The Southside Community Federal Credit Union; Alderman Howard Brookins Jr, Chair of The City Council Black Caucus, Otis Monroe, President of The Monroe Foundation, Alderman Pat Dowell, and others.
