In celebration of Black Poetry Day, Countee Cullen Library proudly presents George Edward Tait, the Poet Laureate of Harlem, on Wednesday, October 17th at 6pm. Tait will also be continuing the celebration of his 50th year as an activist and will be reading from his recently completed trilogy of poetry, consisting of At War (1983), At Arms (1992), and Sword Songs (2010). Admission is free.
