Christmas Feast Fit For A King Saint. Sabina celebrates the birth of Jesus by spreading love to those in need On Christmas Day, Rev. Michael Pfleger and The Faith Community of Saint Sabina will provide food, gifts, toys and love to over 400 homeless men, women and children, beginning at 12 noon in their school hall at 7801 South Throop. This is all home cooked food by the members of Saint Sabina. Rev. Pfleger said, "This tradition of Saint Sabina to serve and feed our brothers and sisters who are presently in a struggling situation is the true meaning of Christmas to bring hope and love to a hurting world." This is one of many outreaches that Saint Sabina has been involved with this Christmas season. On December 17th, we distributed over 2,300 free hot meals to this community as well as on December 15th we distributed over 900 free turkeys and in the past week, over 300 families received free toys.
