Celebrate Juneteenth In The Heart Of Brooklyn!

Juneteenth is the oldest known holiday commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States. This year marks the 151st Anniversary of Juneteenth and 25th anniversary of KowTeff! Join KowTeff in collaboration with the Bed-Stuy Restoration Plaza Skylight Gallery for our 6th annual Juneteenth Celebration in Brooklyn. Held at the historic Bed-Stuy Restoration Plaza on Fulton Street, this outdoor event features a full day of FREE festivities for the community!

Highlights include:

Juneteenth Performance with local and professional artists (including a special 25th anniversary showcase by KowTeff African Dance Company!)
Fitness and Wellness Expo (resources, consultations, & classes)
Dance Classes (for children and adults)
Sheny Nefer Natural Hair Salon Show
Children's face painting and games
Outdoor house party with DJ Juwandi
African Marketplace with a wide variety of vendors!
