DIRECTIONS: A train to 168th Street Stop
This forum is an opportunity to hear official representatives of the
Cuban Federation of Women (FMC) in an open and free discussion. The
Cuban delegation is in New York as part of United Nations activity
around Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day. They will
address the position of women in revolutionary Cuba today, as well as
the new economic policies being currently implemented; Cuba’s
internationalist foreign policy; US-Cuban relations under Obama; the
Case of the Cuban Five and Cuba’s fight against terrorism; democratic
rights and human rights in Cuba; and advances in struggles against
racism.
