This is Carl Dix's new video on STOP "Stop & Frisk" with a challenge to Ray Kelly, NYPD police commissioner, to debate. "The numbers on marijuana arrests tell the same story. Even though possession of small amounts of marijuana is not a crime in NY State, the NYPD arrested more than 50,000 people for possession of marijuana last year. More than % of those arrested were Black or Latino, but government figures show that the overwhelming majority of marijuana users are white! Ray Kelly needs to tell us how these facts don’t prove that his cops are deliberately targeting Black and Latino people. Ray Kelly, I challenge you to a debate about Stop & Frisk, so the truth about it can be brought out into the light of day.
