NYPD Officer Richard Haste murdered Ramarley in his own home on February 2, 2012. Haste has now been indicted by the Bronx Criminal Court, and charged with Manslaughter. The family began rallying against NYPD racial profiling, and abusive policing in their community 18 weeks ago.
July 19th they will be holding the last of 18 vigils in honor of Ramarley’s 18 years of life.
