BLACK ACTIVISM MONTH PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE: AUGUST/TECHI 2011

Greetings,

We want to remind the National Black Community, a.k.a, The Black Nation, that the most dynamic month in our history is coming up. We call it “Black Activism Month.”

Techi is August on the Western calendar. In ancient Kemit, it was called Techi (going by my own research. If there is any information contrary to that let me know)

PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE FOR AUGUST

AT KHALIFAH ESTATE’S

AUGUST 1 (Techi - August 1, is The New Year on the ancient Kemit calendar: The day will be observed accordingly. The First Kemit Synthesizing Conference.

We’ll be receiving “papers” or simply requests to present during the Plenary meeting, Saturday. Your subject must relate positively to the synthesizing of word, attribution to historic places, time periods, and/or etc.

The conference will begin Friday evening and continue into Saturday morning: a plenary will transpire throughout the rest of the day, for those who want to present or simply listen to some of the speeches; otherwise, those in attendance can engage/indulge themselves in a multitude of other activities going on simultaneously: Including, walking the nature trails, family outings on the spacious campus of The Nat Turner Library, Touring Kujichagulia Village, Eating delicious, wholesome foods, Basketball, volley ball, foot ball, baseball, & etc. Admission Free (you pay for all food and beverages). A Flat $29.00 will cover one adult and one child ($10 each additional) will take care of food and beverage from 10 am to 8 p.m.

AUGUST 12 - THE MAN UP CAMP will be hosting School Children During Rite of Passage Weekend. Activities will include, workshops, hikes, and a multitude of tasks will be organized and centered around the healthy growth and development of Black Youth. Free Admission (you pay for all food and beverages) A Flat $29.00 will cover one adult and one child ($10 each additional) will take care of food and beverage from 10 am to 8 p.m.

 

AUGUST 21: The 3rd Nat Turner Day Celebration.  The Meeting will convene on Friday evening and continue Saturday morning. The plenary will be throughout the rest of the day for those who want to attend, otherwise, those in attendance can engage/indulge themselves in a multitude of other activities going on simultaneously: Including, walking the nature trails, family outing on the spacious campus of The Nat Turner Library, Tour The Kujichagulia Village, Eating delicious, wholesome foods, Basketball, volley ball, foot ball, baseball, & etc. Admission Free (you pay for all food and beverages). A Flat $29.00 will cover one adult and one child ($15 each additional) will take care of food and beverage from 10 am to 8 p.m.
