We are happy to announce an extended deadline for applications for Manhattan Borough President Scott M. Stringer’s Civic Leaders of Tomorrow Fellowship for the 2011 Fall semester. This undergraduate fellowship promotes future leaders in public policy and advocacy through placements at not-for-profit and community-based organizations in New York City advocating for underserved communities, with a focus on immigrant communities.

Fellows will receive a $1,000 stipend for the duration of the fellowship which will begin late September/ early October and will conclude in December of 2011. The extended application deadline for the fellowship is Wednesday, September 14, 2011. Please share this opportunity extensively with any students that might be interested in advance of that deadline.
