The Apollo Theater Academy is now accepting applications for the 2011 Summer Internship Program. (A copy of the application is attached below:)
The Summer Internship Program provides rising high school seniors with opportunities for personal and professional development as they explore non-performance careers in the arts and entertainment industries at the Apollo Theater. Through seminars, workshops, and hands-on training students develop leadership skills, experience a real world work environment, and connect with industry professionals.
This is a paid internship program. Students are employed full time, Monday – Friday. The 2011 program will run for six weeks, July 5 – August 12. The application process is competitive. Not every student who applies will be invited for an interview or to participate in the program. Please forward the application to any student(s) you feel might be interested and who meet the requirements outlined on the cover page of the application.
