VOTE "YES" TO HB1492 (CRA ACCOUNTABILITY BILL)
OUT OF RULES COMMITTEE!
HB1492, sponsored by State Representative Emanuel "Chris" Welch,
amends the State Deposits of Moneys Act.
The Amendment disqualifies banks from receiving state deposits if the institution has not receive an "Outstanding" CRA rating,
and requires the institution to expand its' CRA presence in
low-moderate income communities through branchand ATM presence in communities.
