4th Abibitumi Kasa Online Family Reunion August 21st at 3:00 PM EST
This Family Reunion was called in relation to this thread: http://www.abibitumikasa.com/forums/...html#post44754
As another example of Abibitumikasa’s commitment to Afrikan Liberation, we’ve upgraded the web site hosting and bought and installed a new chat room application, plus many smaller improvements.
Being Afrikan principled, we emphasize purpose, reciprocity and balance, kwk, in all things, knowing that we all share the collective responsibility for our survival. We have to justify not only the cost of upgrades, but also, the love, commitment, time and effort, kwk, of those who research and install them, as well as keep Abibitumikasa running (as always, meda ase to those who support Abibitumikasa – cuz “freedom ain’t free!” & “stuff just don’t happen by itself!”, kwk). We should not be wasteful (even more so being as financially and volunteer limited as we are!!).
Besides providing online Afrikan language classes, informative posts, blogs, kwk, we thought the Abibitumikasa Family would be more supported, and as a result more helpful both at home and here, by having more Family interaction (posting & replying one at a time only goes so far!! – and that’s if there are posts, let alone replies!!). With this in mind, plus dealing with not having the comfort of being physically together as a group of Unapologetically Afrikan Centered People (ain’t no substitute for the spiritual energy of being in person), we’re planning on having scheduled Family get-togethers in the chat room to talk about some of our issues – Family Business Y’all.
Near the top of the Forums' Home Page is a list of possible topics to focus from (being holistic, as Afrikans it’s understood all things are interrelated so…). Please vote for (and add) any topics you think should be discussed. Also, as usual, if there’s anything more you think Abibitumikasa can do to help towards Afrikan Liberation, let us know!!
Meda ase
Wanting … Easy, Getting what you want … Harder, Keeping what you got … Hardest!!
Small minds talk about people, Average minds talk about events, Great minds talk about ideas!!
Freedom - Only if you’re willing to die for it!!
The secondary purpose of this family gathering is to help each of us to know more about who we are, to share the realities that we experience in our lives, families and communities and to address the necessity for us to support, build and form our own institutions.
Who: ALL Abibitumi Kasa Admins, moderators, students, members and contributors
What: 4th Abibitumi Kasa family reunion
When: Sunday August 21st, at 3:00 PM Eastern time
Where: http://www.abibitumikasa.com/forums/chat.php
How much: FREE!!!
Why: To assist members in getting to know one another, to create a safe and private environment where members from all over the Afrikan world can learn about who we are, where we live, and what we do for Afrikan Liberation on a daily basis, to bring Afrikan people together who are interested in connecting, networking and sharing ideas with other Afrikans.
Introducing ourselves to one another and making the effort to communicate with each other will Open the Way to honest and real dialogue. We will get to know more about the personality of each member and what role we each play in the process of ReAfrikanization & De-whitenization.
we would also like to address the dialogue that has been taking place in the thread "A Vast Majority of black people" under Afrikan Nation-building systems, which can be found at http://www.abibitumikasa.com/forums/...-people-2.html
In this discussion, we have been talking about our excessive support and obsession with yurugu controlled social networks and how much we use them to connect with our own people. we have addressed the causes but now we need to seek soul-lutions. we would like to come together and speak honestly about the underlying reasons for this infatuation with yurugu social networks. we would like to analyze what we can do to change this cycle of confusion so that our energy can be redirected and refocused on achieving our goals and objectives in our sacred Afrikan owned krakkka-free spaces.
We would also like to discuss a Plan of Action to help our people to reverse this mentacidal conditioning so that all we do online & offline will be in service to Total Afrikan Liberation and not against it. Abibitumi Kasa IS an ALL Afrikan Space for the ALL Afrikan Race, so We must not only show our support, we must also make it our duty and responsibility to help this Blacknificent learning center to continue to fulfill its' purpose of ReAfrikanization for our people worldwide, for generations to come.
We encourage all members to attend our 4th family reunion so that each of us can get to know who we are, why we are here at Abibitumi Kasa, what we would like to learn here, where we are in the world and how we can continue to sustain and build this Abibifahodie communiversity. We also look forward to having more of these sessions in the future, with your continued participation and commitment.
