From Lioness Marilyn to KWASI Akyeampong

  Brother Kwasi:

 

  This is Lioness Marilyn...  we have to Do a "Sure Ya Right" Tribute and Send Off

   for Steve Cokely.... he was on my mind much heavier than usual for the last week

   maybe a little more... memories of seeking and finding loads of information and

   naming the names and going up against some of those very same names... still

   around now... I know the stages of grief... and right now (well last night) I was

   really angry at him (Steve) for not (to my knowledge anyway) going to or coming

   to those of us who are real in holistic healthcare... but then my heart got back on track

   and just remembered all  the sacrifices and good ole hard work that he put into

   reading books, magazines,  documents;  all of our little "Cadre" of boule'busters going

   many many places to get the info; decipher the info; decodify and then codify in his

   and our own ways... those same names and newer ones now....

         surey to be continued.......    with much love, respect and honor to

                    one of our greatest heros... I did a lecture in March 2011...

          where I gave accolades and big time thank you to Steve, to Andoh, to Bobby,

     etc.  ....  for them especially Steve... cause he wasn't answering some of our

     calls and feelers out to him for the very support he thought he did not have...

     he surely always had.. and at that most recent time(s) we have been looking, etc.

     for him to get back to us... cause the support was there where he would not have

     had to have worried about the dollar or the health... but he did not respond to us

.....  at least not directly....  we send him onto the mighty, mighty, mighty ancestors

     and the one source.... for he will be watching from close by (with Andoh and others)

     for the time is now... he gets a front row seat for the end game... and we thank him

     deeply warmly and sincerely for his efforts and accomplishments and we thank his

     family units for sharing him with us all... soon come soon... w'll all be together again.
