3828821682?profile=originalThe People's Organization For Progress will have a Memorial March For Nelson Mandela this Sunday, December 8, 2013, 2:00pm beginning at the corner of Broad and Market Streets in the heart of downtown Newark, New Jersey.

"The purpose of this event is to commemorate and celebrate the life and achievements of Nelson Mandela.  He was a great revolutionary in the struggle to overthrow the racist South African apartheid regime," stated Lawrence Hamm, Chairman of the People's Organization For Progress.

"Nelson Mandela was a champion of human rights, and a freedom fighter whose legacy will inspire future generations to continue the struggle against racism, inequality, oppression, and exploitation," Hamm said.
