January 29, 2016 It is with much sadness and tears that the passing of a beloved warrior Sundiata Sadiq has been learned. He passed this morning at home in the presence of his loving family.

It is with great difficulty for people to completely express how much they loved and respected Sundiata, his honesty and integrity, his love for his people, his lifelong commitment and struggle for justice and liberation for Black people and all oppressed people. He departs leaving everyone with the task and responsibility of carrying on his life’s work.

One person in sorrow over his passing writes, “We love you and respect you; may you rest in peace and may we find within ourselves the courage to carry on the work for love, life and liberation.”

His family will advise of funeral and memorial service arrangements. Outreach of condolence can be sent to the Sadiq Famiy at 10 Madison Avenue, Ossining, NY 10562
