Brother Becky or Becky Issachar as he was affectionately called within the Rastafari community, was a longstanding member of the Executive of the Twelve Tribes of Israel, having joined Israel in 1969. He was a part of the Selassie Brothers group that produced events for the Twelve Tribes of Israel in Jamaica. He along with Brother Sangie Davis was an original representative of the Twelve Tribes of Israel on the Rastafari Millennium Council founded in Jamaica in 2007. He was also the Chairperson of the Ras Tafari Trust Fund, founded in Jamaica in 2011.  

Always involved in Rastafari affairs and ever-focused on Africa, Brother Becky represented Twelve Tribes of Israel at many events locally and on the continent. He was a passionate advocate and worker for the organization and centralization of the Rastafari community and for reparations and repatriation. As one of the most senior representatives of the Twelve Tribes of Israel and an active member of the Rastafari community, we salute Brother Becky and give thanks for his Life and Works.

Thanksgiving Service for the Life of Brother Patrick 'Becky Issachar' Beckford will be held on SUNDAY AUGUST 10 AT 12:30pm AT THE KINGSTON COLLEGE CHAPEL, NORTH STREET, KINGSTON. INTERNMENT AT MEADOWREST. 

The 'Set Up' will be held tonight SATURDAY AUGUST 9 AT THE TWELVE TRIBES OF ISRAEL HEADQUARTERS, HOPE ROAD, KINGSTON 6.

The Celebration of Brother Becky's Earthday on WEDNESDAY AUGUST 13 will also be held at THE TWELVE TRIBES OF ISRAEL HEADQUARTERS, HOPE ROAD, KINGSTON 6 AT 6 PM.
