Announcing The Death of a Refugee/URGENT APPEAL
It is with deep regret and sadness that the Refugee, African community in Brandenburg and Germany is announcing the death of our sister, friend and beloved Ma Tafon Theresia,Born on the 12 .10. 1969 at lobe Southern cameroons . At the time of her death she was living in a refugee camp in the city of Brandenburg.
Theresia hails from the Bali people of the Southern Cameroon. She attended her secondary school in one of the most prestigious girls’ colleges in southern Cameroon; The Saker Baptist College of Limbe (please Ex Sakerate should take note and do something.) S he came to Germany in the later part of the 90s.
We all know how difficult it is to put up mentally- with the conditions of having a normal life in this country. It was difficult for Theresia- she was particularly a victim of this hard environment and succumbed to a mental disorder- unfortunately no one seemed to have cared and she stayed In this state for years in the camp
However, a week before her death (24.12.2010) she was admitted to the hospital to “calm her nerves”- but physically looking OK (we all know how huge and fit she is). According to the social worker in the heim- “on the 22.12.2010 she came to the heim to collect her Xmass gifts and she was not looking like someone who is going to be dead in 2 days”. However this is what happened to our sister.SHE PASSED AWAY ON THE 24:12:2010
We are all now left with many questions to answer – why are people left in the heims with these conditions?
-Why is the community not fully engaged to give alternative assistance?
-What are we going to do to give our sister the last respect? well we obviously have to, by all means send her corps back to Cameroon – and to find out what really happened to her; For this we need your full support financially and physically- all organizations working for refugees and the immigrant community is called upon to mobilize so that we can show the love we missed giving her when she was alive.
For the moment there is no fixed program. For we are all confused on exactly what to do . It involves a lot to send the corps back home, we are waiting for her sister to come from the US
the community is not responding accordingly. There is not much time left , for the support from the state to bury her here is already used. Pls. If you have suggestions Contact pascal or refugees emancipation ASAP
