THE NOMMO SESSIONS
Nommo is the, monthly interactive session for the Afrikan community, presented by the Alkebu-Lan Revivalist Movement. On the last Friday of every month, you can rap, reason and re-energise with like-minded Sisters and Brothers through film, music and the spoken word in its many forms.

Founded in 1987, the ALKEBU-LAN REVIVALIST MOVEMENT (ARM) has grown over the last quarter century to become one of the most dynamic forces on the liberation landscape. Lead by Spiritual Leader Bro. Ldr. Mbandaka, ARM has been at the forefront of advancing a nation building agenda based upon an Afrikan-Centered Spirituo-Cultural philosophy and resolutely Garveyite political ideology by raising the profile and/or initiating a vigorous range of programmes including: Afrikan-Centered spiritual worship, Children’s Programmes/Rites Of Passage, Life Cycle Blessing, Kwanzaa, Mosiah Observance, Economic Development, Pupil Advocacy, The Whirlwind.
Our 49th NOMMO will be a multi-media review of ARM’s first 25 years and an assessment of the challenges facing us for the next 25 in pursuit of claiming a free and redeemed Afrika (and Afrikans) both at home and abroad.
