The myCNAjobs nursing scholarship fund was established to help bring awareness to caregiving as a profession.

myCNAjobs is pleased to announce ABC Training Center will extend multiple scholarships in 2016 via the CNA Scholarship Fund, launched earlier this year.

Located in Bronx, New York, ABC Training Center is no rookie when it comes to providing exceptional adult education programs. For over 43 years, ABC Training has provided adult education services to the New York City community and is licensed by the State of New York. Last summer, ABC Training Center was awarded the 2015 Best Businesses of Bronx Award in the Adult Education category by the Best Business of Bronx Award Program. This award was created to bring recognition to great local businesses within the community.

The certified nurse aides program provides hands-on learning for those looking to build a career as a CNA. ABC Training Center will cover the full cost of tuition for two local community members during their next enrollment period as a way to give back to the local community.

“Providing this opportunity offers a unique way for us to give back to both community members seeking a new career path, but also expand the pool of available workers for our local community as we're in desperate need of a more qualified staff," comments Dave Herwitz, Program Director of ABC Training Center

The myCNAjobs nursing scholarship fund was established to help bring awareness to caregiving as a profession.

“ABC Training Center joins us on our mission to entice more caregivers to choose caregiving as a job and get the best possible caregivers into the lives of seniors nationwide,” says Brandi Kurtyka, CEO of Chicago-based myCNAjobs. “We're thrilled to partner with a CNA program in the Bronx with a such a seasoned track record."
