You will hear from a courageous police chief who will explain why cooperation with immigration officials is dangerous, from experts on the realities of life at both the northern and southern US borders, from attorneys who have witnessed the criminalization of migration in programs such as Operation Streamline, and from specialists on the human rights violations inherent in immigration detention and the growth of the prison industrial complex. 
 
The packed agenda will give you information and time to participate in discussions about changing the paradigm to protect communities and families.
