Immigrants' Rights Day of Action in Albany

New Yorkers share a proud history of embracing immigrant families, but we can’t coast by on our reputation. The rights of immigrants are under threat, and we need to act now.
Join us and our partners at the New York Immigration Coalition for the 2011 Immigrants’ Rights Day of Action in Albany on Tuesday, March 1. Hundreds of New Yorkers will travel to Albany to send a forceful message to Governor Cuomo and state legislators that state policies must recognize immigrants’ rights and protect immigrant communities.
Immigrants’ Rights Day will kick off with breakfast between 10 and 11 a.m. A noon protest march and rally at the Capitol will precede lobby visits with legislators and cultural performances.
