BREAKING NEWS -- from just ONE man with just ONE opinion.... No matter how much the major media and FAR TOO MANY of us as a community keep kicking the Mayor and Police Chiefs butts over more policing..... We are NOT going to POLICE our way out of the community conditions that are going to CONTINUE to produce shootings and deadly violence!! You are going to be doing NOTHING but hitting your "SMH" re-set button after each act of senseless violence even after we add more police and hear the reports of new deployment strategies etc.

The overwhelming majority of those in the criminal justice system today are there for getting caught doing something illegal trying to resolve their ECONOMIC problems which more police does not address. AND our community TODAY has over two generations of mentally and socially ill WALKING TIME BOMBS that NO AMOUNT of police deployment can address the circumstances when and where they explode violently and deadly. The more you keep focusing on more police you have taken your EYES OFF THE PRIZE of what really needs to be addressed. And FAR TOO MANY in our community have blatantly IGNORED the appeals to come OUT from behind the convenience of radio talk show calling and "SMH" social media posts and get out here in the streets doing some HANDS ON work with your own people in your own community that you want to stop the violence.

Its a damned shame that no you STILL see almost the SAME handful of activists and organizers trying to be all over town with the weight of the ills of the community on its shoulders! LASTLY it only takes ONE BILLION DOLLARS spent to sustain 50,000 community jobs and Chicago's Black community spends over $50 BILLION dollars into the Chicago economy and FAR TOO MANY in our own community KEEP spending our dollars in ways that keep everybody else WORKING in legal jobs except our own people in our own communities and more police wont solve that either!! Keep focusing on police if you want to and you are going to sound like a BROKEN RECORD waiting on the latest press conference from The Mayor and Police Chief as they keep explaining WHY the shootings and violence continues DESPITE more police and new deployments.

This is MY "SMH" moment because too many innocent people have while we watch the UNREALISTIC expectations of how much we focus on policing trying to explain the senseless acts of violence. DON'T BELIEVE ME - JUST WATCH !!!! Far too many of our socially, mentally ill and others will CONTINUE to seek the gang, drug and other illegal street economies to solve their desperate ECONOMIC problems DESPITE new police and police deployments with continued violent and deadly results until there are ECONOMIC alternatives. DON'T BELIEVE ME - JUST WATCH !!
