Governor Quinn MUST Act To Remedy New Illinois ObamaCare Outreach Contract With NO Blacks!!
This is especially from all those Black leaders who endorsed Quinn For Governor!!! I am hearing that The State of Illinois is having a quiet press conference at 1:30 TODAY at a site in Wicker Park (St. Mary's Hospital 2233 West Division) to announce that GET COVERED ILLINOIS (ObamaCare) has a new management company and new multi million dollar budget to do the outreach that I am hearing has NO BLACK PARTICIPATION at any level of this major management and contract and that it is ALL WHITE and HISPANIC!! This in unacceptable, not just because this new management group etc does not reflect the Black population in Illinois in general and Cook County in particular, but this is NOT how the Black community is supposed to be rewarded for their major turnout to try and save Quinn's reelection!!
This is NO WAY to reward Black media who's various Black media outlets endorsed Quinn for re-election; and this is no way for all the Black religious, civic, political leaders who gave the strongest public endorsement I have seen in years about how their Black constituents and community should deliver the Black vote for Quinn which they did!! And if Quinn didnt know about this directly HE KNOWS NOW and needs to make this right by immediately seeing to it that Blacks are added to this major Illinois ObamaCare outreach, in addition to the immediate inclusion of Black ad agencies and Black media and Black community outlets that delivered for his recent turnout. Now I am not against Hispanic getting their share, BUT in this recent election Democratic Hispanic voters that once supported Quinn SWITCHED their vote to Rauner in order to make history with the election of the first Hispanic Lt. Governor. So I am not, nor should any Black endorsed Quinn apologize for insisting that the Black inclusion should have been actively included in this new outreach contract before Hispanic.
Finally, a source told me that even through that first GET COVERED ILLINOIS (ObamaCare) $52 MILLION DOLLAR outreach budget that you won't even see ONE MILLION of those dollars having been directed to Black community outreach and Blacks included in the Management, staffing, ad agency inclusion. So this in an immediate CALL TO ACTION for Governor Quinn to take control of this major exclusion of Blacks at every level of this new GET COVERED ILLINOIS (ObamaCare) outreach contract.
