In light of the events unfolding in Ferguson, Mo Jimmy Lee Tillman, II founder of the Martin Luther King Republicans says the Congressional Black Caucus members should revisit their vote from June of this year when Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.) introduced an amendment to stop the Pentagon's 1033 program, which awards hundreds of millions of dollars of military-grade weapons and equipment to local police every year. This amendment was trounced with only seven out of 41 voting members of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) supporting it.
