CHICAGO,IL 1st Congressional District candidate Jimmy Lee Tillman, II continues his campaign to secure the Republican primary nomination by reaching out to the strong Will County electorate.
Tillman addressed the Will County Republicans and the Frankfort Township Republicans at their monthly meetings thanking them for their overwhelming support in the past.The crowd agreed when Tillman demonstrated how with Will County as a base, and his appeal to a wide range of voters he will win, not only the Primary, the General as well.
"As your congressman, the 1st Congressional District will be represented from the urban and middle-class communities in Cook County to the rural and bedroom communities in Will County", remarked Tillman
The Will County Republican Organization unanimously voted to allow each township and precinct organizations to endorse candidates independently in the upcoming Primary. Using this as an opportunity to speak one on one with an active group of voters about local and national issues, Tillman telephoned Will County republican precinct leaders this week to share his views on immigration, gun control, and regulations on small farmers. Several leaders offered their support and endorsement to Tillman's campaign. Many were happy to provide Tillman with tips on how to reach the most voters in their areas and which local papers had the most readership.
