Donna More Campaign Kick-Off Rally
to set the agenda for State’s Attorney’s race
Chicago, Illinois, Jan. 5, 2016 – First time candidate and former federal prosecutor Donna More will tell campaign supporters tomorrow why she represents the only chance voters will have in the coming Democratic primary election to “renounce corruption, cover-ups and passing the buck in the criminal justice system.”
More, an accomplished criminal trial lawyer, will tell a gathering of assistant state’s attorneys, defense attorneys, judges, business people, teachers, parents, students and victims’ of violent crime that she vows to “follow the evidence no matter where it goes and to never ... ever ... let uniforms, politics, race or money triumph over justice.”
During the kick-off rally, she also will outline her plan for restoring integrity, transparency and independence to the State’s Attorney’s Office.
“To me, this election is all about trust and who has the competence and the courage to earn it from Cook County voters,” More will say.
