BREAKING NEWS - THIS JUST IN - Death has claimed another Black music legend., dear Brother Chuck Barksdale, member of the legendary R&B group THE DELLS. He was not just an entertainer but used his voice behind the scenes counseling young people like me and others on using our gifts for upliftment for the least of God's people. He supported Rev. Jesse Jackson, Minister Farrakhan, and so many of us at the grassroots level and Grace be to God for my being able to benefit from his support when I was local music promoter and activist. Just one of many who were blessed to be a part of this legacy professionally and personally. National Black Wall Street Chicago salutes the life and legacy of Chuck Barksdale. HEAR MY VOICE!
