Yes my heart is heavy on the death of HERB KENT. My former boss, former co worker at WVON/WGCI, client, mentor, and friend of over 40 years which all started when he chose me as one of his Teen-DJ's from the old WVON-AM and he and the late Richard Pegue let us teen dj's run with the legendary 'WVON GOOD GUYS' and more through the years. Their stamp of approval helped make us some of the most popular Teen DJ's across Chicago!! I carried his records to the parties until he then chose me to start DJ'ing many of his teen parties in the city! Not to mention all the parties we and others did together at the clubs and halls. Of course I have over 40 years of personal and professional stories and great memories.
