As a veteran activist of over 40 years, I am glad to have gotten part of my formal organizer training from The Midwest Academy Organizer Training Center, where I then hired as a local and national assistant and helped with training and working with other community organizers including a former Chicago community organizer named Barack Obama; and then with a youth organizer project called PUBLIC ALLIES with a sister named Michelle Obama!!!
