Chicago-Midwest
COMMUNITY BLOCK CLUB PARTY IN BRONZEVILLE SATURDAY, MAY 14TH
Resource, networking, and community collaboration building with area businesses and non profit organizations
Contact Event Organizer Alisha Roberts-Novak to RSVP Your community business and/or non profit community organization @ 312-405-2028
The “It Only Takes One Man Project” and its supporters would like to invite you to join us for a celebration of community leaders. We would be pleased to have you come to our “Community Block Club Party” to share your organization’s mission, learn more about the documentary, network with other businesses, potential community partners and members, while enjoying some great music, food and fun. The mission of this collective of business leaders is to highlight the role that civic organizations and community groups play in our city. As business leaders, we share the responsibility of supplying goods and services to help our communities grow and prosper. We all value the opportunity to share information and access to resources with other like-minded civic groups. We recognize the importance of empowering our community representatives to give back in areas where they are passionate. In order to mirror their values, we are compelled to support community programs that focus on empowering our youth, our seniors and those less fortunate in under-serviced neighborhoods through partnership.

The Project is helmed by Alisha Roberts-Novak, a long-time Chicago resident with an extensive background in business operations and social programs. She is respected for her expertise in the Global Consulting Field. She is Director of Operations of her own company, Administrative Resolutions Network, LLC. (ARN). Administrative Resolutions Network, LLC is a minority-owned Chicago based professional services firm. With 15 years of consulting experience with global Fortune 500 firms, she is an excellent team leader, who enjoys working with a wide range of individuals to provide business solutions through strategic planning. Alisha’s ALISHA4REAL Film and Video Production are based on community activities and how businesses serve their communities. Her current project, an upcoming documentary called “It Only Takes One Man” will be discussed at this event.

The documentary is about businessmen raised in the Chicagoland-area that never forgot where they came from and the love of their communities. We follow them as they use mentorship to rebuild their communities through their efforts. We spend time in their underserved neighborhoods and talk to their neighbors, friends, fellow businessman, and the people who benefit from their fight to bring awareness to the needs in those communities. They all came from modest circumstances and had to find the power and inspiration within themselves to defeat life's obstacles to be successful. The interviews and stories they share are honest and eye opening, you immediately know it will push others to become “that one man” to make a difference.

Please save the date because we are looking forward to seeing you. The event will be held at SIP and SAVOR, located at 528 E. 43rd Street, Chicago, IL on May 14, 2016. This is a free event! We are looking for non-for-profit organizations to present their services. I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you to discuss your participation. Thank you for your thoughtful and generous consideration of our request.
