With the completion of all vote counting in Super Tuesday states, Hillary Clinton’s pledged delegate lead has grown to 199. Clinton’s lead in delegates exceeds President Obama’s highest margin during the 2008 primary and is a significant step in the fight for the Democratic nomination.

 

After victories in 11 contests and strong showings in many more, Hillary for America has built a strong and diverse coalition of support, winning a majority of African American voters and Hispanic voters, as well as strong showings with women and labor households.

 

“Thanks to a strong organization and the hard work of volunteers and supporters across the country—and Hillary Clinton’s determination to fight for every vote—we have a strong lead in delegates that will continue to grow.
