Chicago-Midwest

ATTENTION YOUTH ADVOCATES IN THE AREAS OF YOUTH JOB CREATION!!!

The Consumer Education and Consumer Action Project of National Black Wall Street Chicago is pleased to offer promotional outreach support for our allies dealing with the crisis in our youth employment to be a part of this major conference call on THURSDAY JANUARY 28th with JPMorgan Chase and they launch their five-year $75 Million Dollar Initiative to address youth unemployment!!

Around the world, education and training systems are leaving many of our most economically vulnerable young people unprepared for the jobs that exist in today’s economy. As a result, employers are struggling to fill middle-skill jobs, while a large share of young people remain unemployed. This crisis prevents individuals from achieving economic mobility and hinders economic growth.
This week, JPMorgan Chase & Co. launched New Skills for Youth, a five-year, $75 million initiative to address the youth employment crisis and expand access to economic opportunity.

Chauncy Lennon, Head of Workforce Initiatives at JPMorgan Chase, looks forward to discussing JPMorgan’s commitment to dramatically increase the number of young people who successfully complete career training that begins in high school and ends with postsecondary credentials aligned with good-paying, high-demand jobs.

Naomi Camper, Head of the Office of Nonprofit Engagement, will facilitate Q&A following the presentation.
