On Thursday March 3^rd the Breman Township Republican Organization (BTRO) held its 2016 Primary endorsement session at Ed and Joe’s Pizza in Tinley Park and endorsed Jimmy Lee Tillman for the 1^st Congressional District.

BTRO is the grass roots Republican organization specifically for Bremen Township.  Breman Township includes the entire communities of Oak Forest, Midlothian, Posen, and Robbins, with parts of Blue Island, Homewood, Orland Park, Tinley Park, Crestwood, Hazel Crest, Markham, Country Club Hills, and Harvey.

In attendance was Bremen Township Republican Committeeman, the Hon Kevin L. Suggs and Deputy Committeeman Sandi Czyznikiewicz. The endorsement session also included the precinct committeemen and active members who voted for candidates in contested races.

Jimmy Lee Tillman, II, who is seeking the nomination in the 1^st Congressional District, addressed the members about why he is the best candidate to take on the Democratic nominee in the General Election. Tillman, who is no stranger to the BTRO, thanked the organization for its support in the past and expressed how welcomed they always made him when he attends their various events.  

The membership agreed overwhelming to endorse Tillman who is a Fellow in the Republican Leadership Initiative, over his opponent, who was a no-show and many suspected as a Democratic operative.

Attorney Christopher Pfennekhue , candidate for Cook County States Attorney also spoke to the packed room and received the BTRO endorsement as well.
