Whereas; A lot of time and energy has been put forth by many in the Black community for the significant increase in Blacks on The Chicago Police force which now the Chicago Mayor has publicly and formally committed too for 2017. 
Therefore, from a Black business perspective, HOW MANY Black groups are going to bid on the City Budget Allocations to actually conduct the outreach in the Black community for Blacks to take the 2017 Chicago Police Exam??

Project Title:  CPD 2017 Police Officers Exam Recruitment

 
Project Description: The Chicago Police Department (CPD) and the Department of Human Resources (DHR) are currently in the planning stages for the next Entry-Level Police Officer exam. The exam is anticipated to take place on April 1 and April 2, 2017. The Contractor will develop, implement, and coordinate a recruiting and outreach campaign geared towards increased applicant participation, specifically among the City of Chicago's minority population. The long-term goal of this project is to have a Chicago Police Department that reflects the City of Chicago's diverse population and its demographics through a combination of outreach, education, and messaging carefully developed through research of target communities and available resources.
