Bowa Construction of the Bowa Group Inc., broke ground for the University of Chicago’s Medicine Center for Advanced Care at Orland Park, offering more healthcare options for residents living in the southwest suburbs.

The $61 million dollar project is a 108,000-square-foot ambulatory health care facility and will be the University of Chicago Medicine’s largest off-campus location. Slated for completion in 2016, the four-story multi-use building will include a pharmacy, 80 exam rooms, as well as house services for radiation oncology, orthopedics, gastroenterology, cardiology, pediatrics, women’s health and surgical consulting.

“The new facility will not only offer more healthcare options for the south suburbs but will jumpstart economic development, creating more job opportunities,” said Bowa Construction President and CEO Nosa Ehimwenman. “We are very excited to be a part of this joint venture with Leopardo Companies and look forward to the completion of this project.”

This groundbreaking is another step toward Bowa’s goal of incorporating its core principles of family, integrity, excellence, and inclusion into the world we live in. Bowa Construction always sets the bar high on each of its projects, by making a dream become reality. Learn more about Bowa Construction by visiting http://www.thebowagroup.com.
