Daniels takes a fond look back to his formative Christian years in the work “51 Reasons Why The King James: A Path From Doubt To Faith” (2018, 215 pages, Chick Publications).

With the KJV Bible (also known as the Authorized Version of 1611) having been around for more than 400 years, Daniels pens a work based upon many successful podcasts in defending the Christian faith on social media. Further, he has used his writings to handle many questions over the years, giving him—and others—the courage to rest their faith in God solidly upon this long lasting and battle-tested translation.

Daniels uses his broad background to provides exposure and explanation as to the ‘hows and whys’ inferior bible translations have found their way into many churches, bible colleges and seminaries. “51 Reasons Why The King James” provides many great studies and examples supporting the KJV, the Bible version that is making a solid comeback among a younger generation of Christians, many of whom still ‘flip pages’ in addition to using their electronic devices to ‘download’ the KJV.

The book is arranged for great reference selection for serious and introductory-level bible students alike. Daniels does not ‘talk down’ to the reader, but uplifts them into the realm of sharpening their faith and shedding their doubts about what others may have ‘put out’ for public consumption about the KJV being ‘too hard’ to understand or follow. He even includes a chapter of common KJV Bible words, and how they have—over the course of time—worked their way into common English usage.

The chapters are short and power-packed, which makes for enjoyable reading. Chapters include: “It Matters Which Bible You Read”, “A Few Tiny Changes Make a Big Difference”, and “It Makes It Easy To Share Your Faith”. Daniels also mixes in some of his own experiences in his personal growth by using the KJV in his studies and research.

“51 Reasons Why The King James: A Path From Doubt To Faith” by David W.
