Urgent need for solidarity with Black Riders Liberation Party, a new generation Black Panthers formation

The Black Riders Liberation Party (BRLP), a new generation Black Panthers

formation, has faced down non-stop repression for a decade and a half and

continued to educate, agitate and organize militant efforts to free Black

people, and all oppressed people, based on a program of revolutionary African

Intercommunalism. They recently scored another victory by defeating state

efforts to violate the parole of General T.A.C.O. (Taking All Capitalists

Amanda Knox and Troy Davis

Dear Editor:

Let us acknowledge that if we fairly scrutinize the Troy Davis and Amanda

Knox cases, we would see an example of present-day racism.

Knox’s case and family receive 24-hour-a-day coverage with the obvious

assumption that she is innocent and a victim of a miscarriage of justice.

Her parents have been so courted and interviewed by the mainstream (no longer …

Runoko Rashidi in Georgia and Alabama

How are you?  Runoko Rashidi is fine.  No international trips since Zimbabwe

a couple of weeks ago but I did spend several days in Atlanta, Georgia and

Huntsville, Alabama.

I journeyed to Atlanta last week to speak at the Nile Valley Conference II.

I spoke at the first Nile Valley Conference way back in September 1984.  It

was my first really big conference and it helped make a name for me there.  …
