Recently my wife and I attended two commencement ceremonies: my cousin graduated from medical school and her cousin graduated from high school. Graduation is not an end it is a new beginning which is why these ceremonies are called commencements.

Commence is a verb, verbs are action words, they describe action, doing or a state of being. Life in its essence is about change, growth, evolution and expansion. Change is inevitable and it is a crucial aspect of living and life. Change is action often is is subtle, but it is a universal process. Life is change. We began on the physical level as a sperm uniting with an egg both of which contain energy/intelligence/design/purpose and instantly change commences, the process to create a magnificent being such as you, me and all creation. Within this fertilized egg resides the divine blueprint and design for you/us/all creation. From this egg springs life, within this egg lies the genius, latent potential and energy to make a difference in the world. This is the design and purpose of creation and we are an integral part of this design.

This is what our African ancestors called Ubuntu “I am because we are, we are because I am.” It is a universal concept it applies to all things. We meaning all of creation, the whole universe exists because the CREATOR exists and the CREATOR exists in us. It is THE CREATOR within us that unfolds the physical and spiritual design, the divine blueprint for our lives. This design is nothing dreary, mean spirited, boring or stifling, on the contrary; it is expansive with untold potential and wonder! We just have to tap into it get in its divine flow and go with it and enjoy the ride.

Our African ancestors postulated THE CREATOR created with purpose, they believed the universe is the result of a divine plan and this plan constantly evolves and changes resulting in the various occurrences we see around us like: the seasons, plant, animal and human growth, even climate change like the previous ice ages, current desertification around the world and the so called “global warming” the ruling class con artists and fools want us to believe is caused by humans!

The life process is unfolding within us all, it is THE CREATOR in us that keeps our hearts beating, cells dividing, digests the food, supplies abundant energy and health if we don’t sabotage it with unwise and unhealthy lifestyle choices. Yet within this divine design we also have the power to make choices that impact our lives.

All the religious creation stories tell of a CREATOR who is aware of itself and purposely creates by thinking or speaking the universe into existence. “Let there be light”, for example. The universe we see is the result of unseen forces and action. THE CREATOR commenced meaning it took action and the universe we inhabit is the result of it taking action to begin the creative process.

THE CREATOR exists in us, it is dynamic and spiritual energy driven by purposeful intelligence. What we see is us being alive, being and doing. There is a major difference between a living person and a dead body! Like THE CREATOR we have the ability to create, we create images in our mind’s eye, we create (formulate) action plans to accomplish those goals and objectives we create in our minds. We have agency, mobility power and the ability to craft an environment first in our minds then in the material realm. (Notice the root real in the word realm). We have the ability to make things real, “to call forth those things that be not, as if they do in fact exist” because they do exist in our minds. From our minds, our thinking and our actions we manifest our goals and objectives. My cousin Kaila always wanted to be a physician and she worked hard to make that happen.

Everything that exists begins with thinking, planning and action. This is the fundamental law of the universe and a lesson we should all take to heart. You are the embodiment of THE CREATOR and untapped potential resides in you that is part of a divine plan formulated for you to do great things and make awesome contributions to the collective! You are far greater than you realize, you have been blessed with talents,, genius and the wherewithal to accomplish great things. You have a divine purpose and reason for being alive. THE CREATOR has been prompting you through dreams, your aspirations, physical and mental gifts and intuition to pursue your greatness and your purpose for being here. THE CREATOR is guiding you, prompting you to take action. You just have to begin, you have to commence.

Commence means to start, to begin. You have to begin to actualize your potential, display and demonstrate your genius, your gifts and talents to benefit the world. Start now, now is the time to start, to show up and show out. You owe it to THE CREATOR, your ancestors, your family the world and to yourself to be all THE CREATOR intends and created you to be. Commence!

-30-

Is It Worth Your Money and Your Commitent? Awaiting our Destruction or Taking Actionhttps://www.theblacklist.net/forum/topics/is-it-worth-your-money-and-your-commitent-awaiting-our2018-03-30T01:29:34.000Z2018-03-30T01:29:34.000ZSamuel Burnhamhttps://www.theblacklist.net/members/SamuelBurnham

Greetings all.

This appeal may seem like another internet rant to some, perhaps prophetic to some, and then maybe just another good "droppin knowledge" by others. Either way, it is designed to get us Black/African people (I use Black and African interchangeably to notate both descendants of enslaved Africans and Continental Africans) to save ourselves...because no one else will!

In the last few years, we've seen every single "conscious" Black/African person on social media "exposed" or "discredited' by another Black social media person who has "beef" or personal issues with said person. Meanwhile, back in the real world... racist, anti-Black law enforcement are accelerating their murder of our people in every corner of the earth they can...not just the United States! Don't believe me, ask the African/Black folks in Europe! Additionally, Black folks from the Arab-dominated areas of Africa and "the middle East", back to the Western nations are being harassed, disrespected, and, whenever expedient for the forces of Anti-African supremacy to do so...murdered!

While the above process of extermination is occurring, let's take a look at what so-called "conscious" or so-called "woke" Black/African folks are doing.

1. Analyzing, dissecting, and reanalyzing White and Eur-Asian society to tell us what we already know...that "they hate us" and we allegedly don't realize that "they hate us".

2. Our "best and brightest" African/Black folks are actually being re-warded for disrespecting their own African/Black folks by the respective anti-African societies in which they live!

3. Black men and Black women (especially here in the United States) take to YouTube, Facebook, and any other social media platform they can, so they can disrespect each other and each blame the opposite gender for the "state of the Black world" today...while IGNORING the positive, RELATIONSHIP HEALING, Black/African relationship AND MARRIAGE counselors on this same platforms! These sellouts are promoting themselves by SELLING DISPAIR to their Black/African men and women. The money they get for doing this appears to help them ignore meaningful solutions...assuming they even care for solutions!

4. Our "conscious" and "woke" Black/African folks are spending hundreds of hours per week to psychoanalyze the Black Panther Movie and any other form of media about or by Black folks...more than willing to point out the "propaganda" and the other things "wrong" with the movie...while doing nothing...on a group-based level, to help make things RIGHT in the Black/African community!

5. Most of the Black folks who righteously & publicly oppose the assimilationist Black/African folks are such abrasive, fault-finding, quarrelsome, egotistical, profanity spewing brawlers, they will be fortunate to form a group of 10 people who are willing to actually work with them!

6. Too much of the remainder just don't see saving their very lives from the obvious genocide we face as a priority!

I could go on, but the above behavior is enough for me to summarize what's wrong with the majority of our (Black/African) people, as it relates to finding SOLUTIONS to our collective problems. The summary is as follows:

Too many of us are not willing to cooperative work within an ORGANIZED system of Black/African folks of high spiritual & moral character, who are willing to sacrifice their skill set, their time, and money... their commitment...to not just the uplift of Black/African people...but even to our survival!

So to understand Why I am a member of THE One Million Conscious & Conscientious Black Contributors & Voters...known as THE One Million for short...you must understand the above situation we are in. However, to DO something about the situation we are in, you must ask yourself the question:

Is the uplift, dignity, rightful place...even the SURVIVAL of Black/African people worth your money and commitment? Based upon the failure to place what's important at the top of our list of daily activities, it's sadly obvious that the answer for many of us is "no"!

However, I'm not ready to die just yet. I don't want my son to either. I'm not ready to give in to despair, a life of servitude to infighting and anti-Black/anti-African supremacy...a living death! If you feel like I feel, then you may be willing to actually DO something about it. You may be "one of the million". If THE One Million is unworthy of your money and commitment...what organized movement organization IS?

If you can find none other that is worthy, then support our COO fundraiser initiative, join our movement, roll up your sleeves and let's go to work...we don't have much time:

www.iamoneofthemillion.com

Los Angeles, CA: Long Beach port action Dec. 12https://www.theblacklist.net/forum/topics/los-angeles-ca-long-beach-port-action-dec-122011-12-09T05:12:16.000Z2011-12-09T05:12:16.000ZDarcy Delaproserhttps://www.theblacklist.net/members/DarcyDelaproser

On Dec. 12, as part of the March and Boycott for full legalization and jobs for all, Occupy LA, Occupy Long Beach and the Occupy movement are holding a port action, "Occupy the Ports! In Bellingham WA, where they are trying to build a dirty coal terminal, they were found guilty of illegally building an access road without a permit. In Oakland, they were discovered to have been carrying potentially explosive cargo without warning the workers. Here in L.A., their Shippers facility in Carson denies union representation with the ILWU to internal workers, even though the facility is legally part of the port and under ILWU jurisdiction. They were also exposed by CBS News for treating the truck drivers as independent contractors, avoiding FICA taxes and workers compensation, and denying the truck drivers the right to organize.

We will be conducting a legal rally, march and protest and putting up community picket lines at one or more SSA Marine facilities on Dec. 12.

We are demanding economic justice for all. The 1% have pursued conscious policies of globalization, deindustrialization of the US, capital flight and super-exploitation of workers in other countries, with the result that "trade" at LA & Long Beach ports means eight or nine containers of imports for every one of exports. Rebuilding the economy and engaging in real, fair trade would mean good jobs for all, and plenty of work for everyone!

Why we are acting independently of the unions:

We are building towards a general strike by organized and unorganized workers, as a path of direct action by working people and the 99% to define and protect our own interests. We understand that because of reactionary labor laws, rulings and court decisions, dating back to the Taft-Hartley Act and other cold war legislation that tried to limit workers' collective power and rights, unions are constrained from taking job actions based on solidarity or political demands. Just last week, the Clerks local of the ILWU was forced back to work over a technicality after they went out on strike. We are standing up for the rights of labor to organize by undertaking a "third party" community picket. The longshore and other port workers are threatened with fines and imprisonment. The port truck drivers are threatened with prosecution under anti-trust laws if they try to organize. But as concerned residents and working people, we are able to act independently and are doing so. We understand that our action on Dec. 12 will not shut down the ports of LA and Long Beach, and we never claimed we would. Only the working people of the ports, drivers, longshore, warehouse, clerks and others have the power to do that. That is why we see this as only a first step towards a General Strike on may 1, 2012, and we invite all of organized and unorganized labor and all communities to join in building towards that goal.

For more information call 323-901-4269 or email occupytheports@gmail.com

--
SIGN THE JERICHO COINTELPRO PETITION!

Free All Political Prisoners!
nycjericho@gmail.com • www.jerichony.org

Fwd Post from LIB: Not Being Thorough Cost Us Opportunities!https://www.theblacklist.net/forum/topics/2055350-Topic-83842008-07-12T00:37:38.000Z2008-07-12T00:37:38.000ZSamuel Burnhamhttps://www.theblacklist.net/members/SamuelBurnham
Hotep. As a GNP/NBLC member, the response I often get while seeking out like-minded conscious African/Black people is that they are aproached by "so many organizations" requesting that they "join this or join that", or "donate this or donate that".Hey, I understand. it happens to all of us! However, since we (the NBLC and GNP respectively) are in a war with our enemies and running out of time, we give eveyone the benefit of the doubt that they will do as follows:1. action-oriented (aka PRACTICAL nationalists, Pan-Africanists, self-determanists, etc.)2. Can read ALL the summary information....NOT skim over the summary information... we give them so they can have a WELL INFORMED SUMMARY of who we are, what we stand for, and what may appeal to them from our organizations (GNP & NBLC).3. can prioritize their involvement with individuals, organizations, and/or task4 has the ability to stay focused & CONSISTENT on what they agree/promiss to commit to.Unforunately, few conscious folk fit category number 1. I hate to say this, but I think the majority may fall into this category, which I also nick-named "academic nationalism only". Those who do fit number 1 (action-oriented), but are bombared with the many individuals and organizations hitting them often fail to understand concepts 2-4. Especially concepts 2 and 4! We African/Black folk have had our hopes up and down for so long, that when approached by members of the African/Black family who say they are making a difference....they are automatically placed in the "run-of-the-mill" category, while we make INACURATE assumptions about some organizations/individuals who ARE beneficial to our/your cause! While this is undserstandable, given our history, we can no longer use this as an excuse. Especially when we consider that this discourages us from partaking in ANY worth-while group action. For example, I have often seen arguments errupt amongst conscious people who actually AGREED on the same thing...all because they did not COMPLETELY read each others posts and/or LISTEN COMPLETELY to what the other said! This fault-finding mentality has KILLED a lot of good group efforts (both mentally and physically). this mentality is often manifest in searching for the thing that "I don't like" about someones wording and/or opinion, instead of getting the ENTIRE words and/or opinions. As a result, solutions to problems are often overlooked and drowned out in a sea of confusion, pointless debates, and speaking for the sake of speaking. Again, the result is confusion and a lack of critical mass for group efforts. As for those who don't understand concept number 4, I know we all have to multi-task. After all, it's so few action-oriented sisters and brothers out their, that we often over-work and over-extend ourselves. However, some of these burndens we place upon our selves. the result is that we are TOO BUSY to be CONSISTENT in group efforts. And since our enemy uses a SYSTEM...which is created and maintain by GROUPS of anti-African/Black racists, we can not hope to defeat such a giant by our indidviual efforts. So in conclusion, only you can determine if the GNP & NBLC are good fits for you. Only you know what responsibilities rest on your plate. However, we urge all to take heed to the 4 categories above, so that the enemy can not easily destroy us with his warfare. The NBLC Quarterly Leadership Meeting will take place in Detroit at the Black-owned Hotel St. Regis on Saturday, July 26, 2008 starting promptly at 9:00 AM. AFTER the PRIVATE, members-only buisness meeting, a "public" meeting of the same type will take place for those interested in supporting our cause collectively! I also realize that there are some among the Black list whose sole purpous is to be "fault-finders". You will find something big, and if not big, trivial to disagree with somone, so as to cause pointless arguments. The latter group, will unfortuantely, perish with our enemies. The capital words are not shouts, but emphasis...that we should NOT skim over.I've seen a bunch of arguments over the presidential election, particularly, against Obama. While I prefer Cynthia McKinney, and Obama is not my favorite, I would think that some of you would be happier to see Bush or another obviously anti-Black/anti-African enemy of Africans/Blacks in the White House! The problem is NOT that I have a problem with those who are against Obama's bid to be president. My problem is that most of these critisizers act as if ANY African/Black person in this country that will look after OUR needs unapolgetically could EVER be elected president of the U.S. without a COMPROMISE that is UNACCEPTABLE to CONSCIOUS African/Black folk! We should know this by now.As a result, we critisize and find fault with any and every Black person that runs for political office in the country, accusing them of being pupets, tratiors, sellouts, etc. While MOST of these comments are TRUE, the problem is that the few Black folk who ARE on OUR side are WRONGLY accused of being like the ones above. As a result, we discourage EACH AND EVERY ONE of them from doing ANYTHING on our behalf.I hate to say this, but If I had to rely upon "conscious" Black forums to encourage me to be the Pan-African PRACTICAL Nationalist that I am today, or to do ANYTHING POSITIVE on behalf of African-Black people, I would have given up and cast my lot with the assimilationist and integrationist! After all, there is so much argument and disrespectfulness among us that I dare say we are WORSE than the integrationst and assimilationists! This is be so shameful to ous that we are motivated to some form of action that will bring back intra-group respect and cooperation, so as not to prove the White supremacist and Black naysayers (which have already lost faith in their own people) right.MOSTS...Others who critisize the rest for not looking at repatriation forget several key points:1. MOST of these fault-finders DON'T have masses-oriented plan that will be STRATEGIC enough and ORGANIZED WITH ENOUGH STRATEGICALLY PLACED PEOPLE to make repatriation MUTUALLY benefitial to the Africans on the continent and those migrating from the diaspora. As a result, a hand-full of "African-Americans" might be lucky enough to live in Africa...and if they are EXTRA lucky...their sons and daugthers may avoid the poverty that the continental Africans are already enduring.2. Because MOST don't have SUFFICIENT organization here in the diaspora (i.e. U.S., South America, France, etc), both in numbers of INCOME-PRODCING PEOPLE and SKILLS to make repatriation viable for THOUSANDS of people. And we NEED thousands of the type of people above in order to have any SIGNIFCANT change in Africa...if we want to make repatriation VIABLE to all but wealthy, exploitive, "African-Americans".SOLUTION:Since no African/Black person in this anti-Black/anti-African U.S. can hope to get elected to the office of the president without compromising TOO MUCH of what we need, then we must choose...through cooperative action...a "lobby" to act in our best interest. This lobby, as Baba Amefika Geuka calls it, is the the POBA. The POBA concept is dependant upon the conscious African/Black folk in this country acting SIMULTANEOUSLY through an ELECTED Black person whose ONLY political loyalty will be to Black folk! Now I don't have time to "teach a class" on why this would work. Those who are not fault-finders will take the time to read ALL of the material that is attached to this message before they do what MOST of us conscious Black folk do...claim that it "will never work". Attached is a solution to pointless energy being spent arguing for and against Obama...and any other Black person running for office in this country. This is PRACTICAL NATIOANLISM, PART 1:Since we conscious folk are already know for our OVERABUNDANCE of theory, conjecture, and arguments...what are we going to DO about It? Take heed to ALL the attachments before forming an opinion.respectfully,Samuel Burnham: NBLC Science & Technology Task Force, Ghana Nkwanta Project Memberswww.bringbackblack.orghttp://nkwanta.tripod.com
Black Paper On Practical Politics.doc

Understanding Where We Are.doc

The Rationale for a POBA.doc
